Company Driver Qualifications

22 years of age

team drivers must have 6 months OTR experience including ice, snow, and mountain driving (for team operation - this experience must be within the last 3 years)

driver trainee must be a school graduate with 90 or above GPA, road test score no lower than a 90, and successfully complete DHT's road test

possess a Commercial Driver's License/Class A

current experience in last 3 years

no more than 1 preventable accident in last 3 years

no more than 3 moving violations in last 2 years

no excessive speed (15 mph or over), careless or reckless driving convictions in last 3 years

no DUI/DWI convictions in last 5 years, never in a commercial vehicle

satisfactory completion of DHT pre-employment processing (written test, road test, physical examination, substance and alcohol screen)

comply with all company policies concerning personal appearance

comply with all FMCSR rules and regulations

felony convictions to be determined by review board on an individual basis
